jennifer/brooks photography is the product of great friendship, creativity and a passion for images. Jennifer and Brooks met as neighbors in 2005, became friends and found that they had a common love of images, design and photography. That love, combined with a great work ethic and loads of enthusiasm brought about jennifer/brooks photography. Jennifer and Brooks both believe that two heads are better than one, and always work together for major events and weddings. The studio became “official” in August, 2007 and has recently expanded beyond North Carolina's borders! We are now also serving the Northern Virginia/DC area!

Jennifer Wilson was born into a military family on the island of Hawaii. She had the rich experience of growing up in many places including Oklahoma, Germany & Illinois. Jennifer has a degree in Psychology, is married to her best "buddy" Scot, and she is a fabulous mother of the sweetest 3 year old boy on the planet. Jen’s passion for photography began in high school and has only grown with her and her family. Jen takes special care of all our portrait clients in the Northern Virginia and DC location.

jen loves: hanging out with those dearest to her, margaritas (preferably while she's hanging out with those dear people), Paris at night, hugs from her son, when her husband calls her "buddy," her puppies, making someone smile, shopping for clothes AND shoes, COFFEE, her camera, Vincent Van Gogh, reading and "date night" with her awesome husband...

Brooks Kleven grew up in the greater Seattle area surrounded by beautiful scenery, wonderful friends and family.  She’s spent most of her life pursuing the arts through dance, painting, design, and photography and truly loves all things creative. Following her passion of making images and art she obtained her degree in Graphic Design at The Art Institute of Seattle in 2001. She moved to North Carolina in June 2005 and feels it has truly become her second "home." Brooks is excited to continue building relationships with our fabulous clients (new and old) in the Triangle area of North Carolina.

brooks loves: laughing hard, new music, design!, Starbucks, her Mac, sleeping in late, summer nights, DANCING, North Carolina sunsets, her golden retriever Lola, fashion, changing her hair color, chunky jewelry, giving gifts, the Seattle skyline, the smell of rain, the sounds of the beach, shopping, conversations with children, tight hugs, a great book, a fabulous meal (with dessert!), and of course taking photographs!
