the vows.

brooke & toby's ceremony was an artfully personal and whimsical affair. everything about it was customized perfectly for the two of them. every word that was said was meaningful. every promise that was made was kept safe. and, every person there to witness it was integral, as we all pronounced them husband & wife together.

the maid of honor, moriah.

it was a foot wear optional affair.

brooke's parents walked her down the aisle together.

brooke & toby were so excited. it was amazing to see the way they looked at each other.

brooke & toby wrote their vows together. they made specific promises to each other on many aspects of their life together including adventure, relationships with others, careers and being each other's best friend through it all. they wrote them down and put them in this piggy bank that was made by an artist, friend of theirs. they intend to open the pig in 5 years and then make new promises for the future. it hit me on so many levels, it was so personal, yet whimsical.  i love it!

the ceremony was both touching and humorous... there were amazing readings from famous philosophers and jayzee quotes! perfectly unique.

and, we all pronounced them, "man & wife."
